Vigor Shipyards is the government ship repair arm of Vigor Industrial. Our primary clients are the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Navy.

We’re one of three companies nationwide entrusted with multi-ship contracts to maintain U.S. Navy aircraft carriers. We repair and modernize Navy ships, including destroyers and frigates at Vigor yards across the Pacific Northwest and in the Navy’s facilities at Bremerton and Everett.

Vigor Shipyard's is also one of the largest providers of U.S. Coast Guard repair and modernization services in the nation, maintaining a good portion of the red, white, and black hull fleet. We have three decades of experience maintaining and repairing the Coast Guard's icebreaker fleet and in 2013, we completed a major overhaul of the Polar Star, the nation's only operational heavy icebreaker.
