F/V Pacific Ram

Description:

Trident Seafoods came to the experts at Vigor Marine in Tacoma to help expand the fish hold capacity of this 82' x 27' catcher boat. When all was said and done this vessel was widened by five feet on either side and has an additional 35% of fish hold capacity.

Split-Hull Hopper Barge

Description:

Due to US Fab's quality, price and ability to meet the customer's schedule we were awarded the contract to build American Construction Co., Inc.'s newest vessel, a 242' x 54', 4,050 CU. Yd. Split-Hull Hopper Barge. The vessel is currently under construction at our Portland shipyard.

King County Maintenance and Moorage Barge

Description:

US Fab's latest purpose built vessel has been delivered to the customer. The unique 140' x 40' x 7'6" maintenance and moorage barge was built for Washington State's King County Marine Division to serve the day-to-day needs of the county's passenger-only ferry fleet.

F/V Arctic Prowler

Description:

This 136' x 40' x 15' factory longliner is being built by Alaska Ship & Drydock at our Ketchikan facility.

The vessel is being constructed for Alaska Longline Co. in Petersburg, AK and similar to the other three longliners in the fleet is being built using the house-aft design. We have been maintaining the existing Alaska Longline Co. fleet in Ketchikan for many years now and are proud to be building the latest addition.

Fireboat Chief Seattle

Description:

Vigor Marine teams in Everett, WA completed a major retrofit of the 97’ Chief Seattle, a centerpiece of the Seattle Fire Department’s efforts to improve and upgrade its fireboat fleet. Originally built in 1984, Vigor Marine transformed Chief Seattle into a modern firefighting machine capable of pumping 10,000 gallons of water per minute and outfitted with state-of-the-art technology. The work will easily extend her service life by another 20 years.

144-car Ferries

Description:

US Fab has assembled a team of leading Puget Sound shipyards to build new, large ferries for Washington State Ferries (WSF), the fourth largest ferry system in the world.

Construction on the first 144-car ferry began in early 2012 with delivery expected by 2014, in time to retire the aging M/V Evergreen State as it turns 60 years old.

The new Olympic class ferry is based on WSF’s versatile Issaquah class. The new ferries will improve the safety and efficiency of state fleet and ultimately provide standby capacity for maintenance or unplanned circumstances.

Olympic Spirit - Bow Replacement

In just under three months, Vigor Marine replaced the300 ton bow of Olympic Spirit, an 80,000 BBL double hull petroleum barge owned by Harley Marine subsidiary, Olympic Tug & Barge, Inc. Meeting the aggressive schedule has helped keep Harley’s fleet in the water where it needs to be to continue to provide quality marine services.

Iliuliuk Bay Deck Barge

Description:

US Fab is building a 250' x 70' x 15'8" deck barge for Harley Marine at our Portland shipyard. The purpose built barge was designed by Jensen Maritime Consultants and is designed to house a 230 ton lift capacity Manitowoc 4100 crawler crane.
