Barges

Barges are the workhorses of the waterways. And Vigor’s US Fab subsidiary is one of the leading barge construction and repair companies in the industry.

Building on its start as US Barge, US Fab today has the capacity and available workforce to build everything from small deck to large ocean-going barges.  We offer oversized buildways, large indoor capacity and a highly skilled workforce. Our unique no-stress launch system ensures each vessel enters the water without compromising its full lifespan potential.

We build, repair and outfit double-hulled tank barges, heavy deck construction barges, dump/hoppers and more, with innovative design, project planning and construction approaches that move barges from concept to completion on budget and on time.
