US Fab: We Build Success.

US Fab craftspeople turn metal into industrial masterpieces for water and land. Our products ferry people and cars, move food, fuel, and freight and protect our shoreline and global security. We build projects that harvest energy and spark efficiency. We provide fabrication solutions to land-based manufacturers. Whatever our customers need on sea or on land, we build. On-budget and on-time.

About US Fab

As the fabrication and new-build arm of Vigor Industrial, US Fab is building on its roots as US Barge and on a hundred-year heritage of shipbuilding for the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, other government and commercial owners and operators. We work in our facilities across the Pacific Northwest, with a wide variety of drydocks, cranes, indoor machining and fabrication bays and with access to specialists at Vigor Marine, Specialty Finishes and other Vigor Industrial companies. Our unique range of facilities allows us to build any size project on our customers’ schedule. Our full-service structure lets us provide turnkey solutions from design through delivery.

US Fab builds the ferries that move millions of people and millions of cars every year for Washington State Ferries, the largest ferry system in the United States (and the fourth largest in the world). We’re developing plans to build innovative and efficient Offshore Patrol Cutters for the Coast Guard. We build fishing vessels and cargo ships. We work in any class and regulatory standards our customers require.

We apply rugged innovation to everything from bridge supports to alternative energy systems like wave buoy platforms that will capture energy from ocean waves: one hundred percent renewable; virtually zero environmental impact. We also fabricate land-based devices that turn landfill waste gases into electricity.

And yes, we build world-class ocean-going, inland and specialty barges that move tons of goods with unsurpassed efficiency.

US Fab. We Build Success.
